Only during the fourth century do we have the first significant evidence of works dedicated specifically to the Spirit. Even today, within the regulations of theological institutes, we do not find an adequate and well-deserved space dedicated to pneumatology. \nThe present optional course proposes, therefore, a deepening of the pneumatological reflection starting from the first two great treatises De Spiritu Sancto respectively by Basil the Great and Ambrose.
