Beginning with the equality of the faithful, the course focuses on the rights and duties that define the figure of the christifideles in light of the documents of the Second Vatican Council. A key area of study is the hierarchical constitution of the Church: the Roman Pontiff and the Roman Curia, the Bishops and particular Churches, the Clergy, and Parishes. Additionally, the course highlights and provides a legal framework for the Church\u2019s teaching function\u2014with particular reference to the teaching of Catholic Religion in schools\u2014and its sanctifying function, with special emphasis on certain Sacraments.
